Im not, so il hook em up with fb. That screech siren sound you have going through out the song made my ears bleed, i think you owe me some new headphones for that.

Being serious though, that siren is too damn loud. Listeners have to turn down the volume to lowwww levels to just be able to listen to the whole thing. Which, as a result, make the whole mix alot more quiet and honestly not a whole lot stands out well. This and the fact that wobbles you tried making towards the end of the track are pretty shitty imo, would of done much better without. The mix didn't quite call for them either.

Yea bro, it's heavy as hell, but there's too much clutter in your headspace. You need to spread out the frequencies a little more. Funky tune tho.

that siren sound is actual apparent of the bass so it is effected by the efx placed on the bass (compression/distortion). So if the bass is thick it will be thick. Also, people assume i am mixing with good moniters. I am using labtop speakers. That definately makes a difference. The wobble is out of the newest version.

Wow to this entire thread.
Nice way to blast it back SignalRecon
@ czar
If you want honest critiques, don't ruin it before we even listen, by stating we will hear it is "superior." I couldn't even listen after I had read that, as I was already completely biased to hate it.
I agree with everyone else - WAY WAY too much stuff going on at once.
Also, writing and producing on laptop speakers? I'd think even some cheap Apple earbuds would be better than that. Maybe check into some headphones bro, if that's all you can get.

thanks for the criticism. one guy says put 2 or 3 elements at a time. That is completely under me imo. their are 5-6 elements in all great music. drums, bass, chords, melody, counter melody. I might put an extra element out of compulsion but thats just me. But yeah, :40 seconds into the song it gets cluttered. I fixed that though. I took out the analogy synth wobble thingy. After that I am only working with 5 elements at one time. The siren thingy is actually the bass. I do need to watch my frequency/octaves though.

Dude, If you look at your spectral analizer you will see a prominent cock-shaped wave at the 5-18k range, this completely explains why you all get that feeling of your ears being unconcentually fucked.

I don't believe he (whoever it was before) intended elements, as meaning drums, bass, melody, etc... I think he meant instead of trying to find harmonies by having several synths and instruments going simultaneously.... Try having less instruments and maybe more refined melodies.
You might want to be more open to trying out these criticisms others are providing you. You seem pretty resistant to any feedback we offer. You don't have to change the song for good, just try it out and see if it works. We have all been proven wrong.
I'm just saying... If there is a common disagreement amongst everyone, you should highly consider it. Good luck!

Lol, kk i have no idea what you are talking about with "actual apparant of the bass" but im assuming that you mean you have some sort of constraint with how much you can change it because its an artifact from your shitty processing. So if you cant change it, and its shitty, then its shitty take it out, your flawful sounddesign is no ones fault but yours. You leave it in on the premise that a new bass is to much work, the track still sucks despite the "ignore this part of the track" disclaimer so dont post it, or at least dont claim to own face at dubztep.

You should definitely keep those two noises seperate, man. They don't really relate to eachother at all, which means they both call for differant processing in order to keep it sitting in you're mix.
And i didn't assume you were using monitors, you don't need to produce with those. But im guessing you don't have a sub now(listening on applebuds)? And how could you really call this dubstep without any sub present. I actually produce on a 30W guitar amp that's over 5 years old. That and a subwoofer used for movie effects that's even older than that.
Did you make the Siren and Bass on the same synth patch?

Yes the siren and the bass is the same synth patch. I "camelcrushed" the bass and that effected the siren. It is actually a complicated patch because i used a porta efx on it so the siren slides towards the end of the 8 bar measure. I don't have a sub. But really....this is just music man. I am ultimately not trying to fit into any niche.

First, i would like to apologize for what i said about rusko. However, ultimately that is my opinion about his music. not a personal opinion. with that said. Leori Jones wrote a brillant essay which broke down african music to a tee. IT explained why black music have harmonies like i construct and melodies as well. IT it cultural. IF you listen to fusion jazz or funk, they do the same thing. Cultural continuity. As for the instruments going simultaneously , the synth in :40 is the only one that does this. I keep trying to explain that. BUt yeah the track is not bad not considering the mix.
