Okay, ill add sub bass and repost. i added it, but i put it on the part that comes in after the intro, and honestly you cant really even hear it XD

What you could do to make the bass come out more is add a bass boost to the bass line. That's what I usually do to get the bass to show up more. If you listen to my sig, when the drop comes it's a pretty beefy bass tone...to me at least. I just added a bass boost at 60 hertz and EQed a tad and boom it stands out.

no, you would typically add a limiter to your master output track once your ready to render the track, i would leave it bypassed or turned off while you're working on the track though. I use voxengo elephant.
you're correct in saying the limiter will stop anything from clipping by reducing anything that clips (goes above 0db) back down to 0db. But the important thing it does is it makes your track a lot louder.

sub bass is very important in dubstep, do some googling on sub bass techniques etc. you need it underneath all your basslines.

So i went ahead and added the Logic 9.1.3 default Limiter, and its making my sound a LOT more quiet.

yeah, let me try n explain in another way.

imagine the quietest parts of your mix, you want those to be turned right up close to 0db so that they can be heard as loudly as the rest of the mix... but if you turned your track up like this then the loud parts of your mix would be clipping, this is where a limiter comes and by taking all those sounds that are clipping and reducing them back to 0db, but as a result the sound may sound too squashed if its used too much.
I'm not familiar with Logic, but the limiter should have a threshold and a margin ? try reducing the threshold and see if it makes your mix louder? the margin should be at 0db this is the number that the clipping sounds will be reduced to.

You've been loads of help! today i plan on finishing up adding sub bass and i will follow these instructions to see if i can get this limiter working the way i need it

This is what i've come up with. added sub-bass but im not sure if its too low of an octave or just too quiet you guys decide. i also put a limiter on it let me know what you guys think

its sounding better already mate, the sub seems to sound ok through my headphones, i'm not about to turn on the sound system at 3:30 am tho, lol
if you're trying to figure out if its too low an octave or not try this... does logic have a spectrum analyzer? if not get one and just put it on your sub bass track and let it play, it wil show you the frequencies at which your sub bass is appearing. it should be peaking at around 40-80 hz give or take, depending on what key your song is in.

one thing i will say is your kick and snare, but mostly your kick, needs to be a bit higher in the mix, i don't wanna just say turn up your kick, maybe you need to turn everything else down, its hard for me to say which from here hehe.

i think i need to turn all the other sounds down a bit, because my kick isnt coming thru. all my compressors are kind of maxed ha

Ok so ive been using the Logic 9 defualt limiter, but i decided to try out voxengo, and holy shit idk if its just me but it made all everything super shit sounding and it also made the volume of each individual sound even worse. should i stick to the default limiter?
i also tried Izotope Ozone, and im going to post how it sounds with Izotope. let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions. i tried to fix the kick

EDIT: i think i made the kick too loud now ha, ill fix that. and also at 30 seconds is where i cant seem to get the kick drum to stand out D: im not sure how to fix this!
