Im more into the metalcore side of things, like LoG, All that Remains, etc. but i can occasionally get into some cannibal corpse or dimmu borgir.

I used to rinse this before i even cared for dubstep. I never really saw it as such, but if that is the general consensus, then this is probably one of the first dubstep tunes i ever heard. But i really wouldn't call it that, cybergrind, breakcore was what i would have pigeonholed it into if i had to. But still pretty buzzed to see it mentioned on this forum in 2012, pure nostalgia.

Nah. Bands like Bring Me The Horizon and Asking Alexandria aren't metalcore, just scene/shit/lamecore. Caliban is decent metalcore with melodic parts, i.e.

i don't like caliban either :/

fast intro riff, DOUBEL BASE DRMNIN!!!! then screaming vox for verse melodic chorus, wash rinse and repeat followed by a super screamy bridge riff and wait for it BREEEEAK DOWWWWN *chugs E string a couple of times and chucks in a pinch harmonic/discordant double stop*. 3rd verse chorus and intro reprise.

thats there is the structure for about 90% of metalcore songs, the other 10 percent swap the screaming/singing round for verse and chorus.

not to mention all the riffs are just poor at the gates rip offs, non of the vocalists can sing OR scream and they all dress like a bunch of fucking girls.

and dont get me started on deathcore thats even worse :cornlol:

whitechapel!? your just trying to upset me now :cornlol:

deathcore is a hideous watered down version of death metal with too much "core" in it, its death metal for scene kids essentially.
