to be honest you've actually come across worse here mate, wolf said electro-swing sucks, someone asked why he thought that, wolf explained his opinion and then you made character judgements based upon that and said that he often sounds like a tnuc...
I'm not just basing it off this time, he's rubbed me the wrong way with this shit a few times before. Don't like some music? Each to their own, no need to insult everyone who listens to it though. I rarely see wolf89 post anything that doesn't just come across as overly negative. There's plenty of people who express their dislike for certain kinds of music around here and I have no problem with 99% of them, but this guy just has a way of sounding like the biggest asshole when he does it.
wolf89 wrote:see I think now your missing the point that it's possible to go out and have fun with mates who you enjoy being around. not evertrying is about music all the time you boob. I even went to an electro swing night with about 20 people cause the one who was getting married soon wanted to and we thought he should control the night. despite the c fact it was shit music it was a lot of fun but that's because we got soo fucking wasted and caused all sorts of chaos (culminating in one person getting naked.
As for this... I have no idea how that relates to anything I said, but congrats on a fun piss-up I guess.
For the record, I didn't even know electro-swing had a scene until now. I just heard Caravan Palace without any context and thought it was some cool shit. I don't really care if the nights are pretentious or the people who make up its main fanbase are all wankers, I just enjoy listening to it, end of.

i loved the tunes in OP
lol@ the idea that superimposing swung rhythms with straight, rigid drums is a bad idea!??
that's pretty much a recipe for a sick groove.
obviously not looking for an hourlong set of it, but a track here or there would do it for me

can't get into it as it sounds like that billy holiday remixed cd that was in all the starbucks a couple of years ago
that being said, i love actual swing music, as long as it is a little more wild and aggressive!
