William Adamson - Under An East Coast Moon

& the dub versions. Sick reworking of an interesting blues/rock album.

Fela Kuti - Best Of The Black President 2.
VA - Loving On The Flipside (great comp of lesser known soul/funk tunes from 60s/70s)
Cant think of anymore atm will update later

Omar-S. Much better than anything else I've heard in this year.

Armour - Skylark
Mumdance & Logos - Drum Boss

The Jakes tune got boring real quick. Steve Digital track is a grower, but I'm willing to add that one. most of the other producers have done tracks way better than what's on there.

TM404's effort is especially impressive, especially if you look at his studio set up.

Compared to recent two EPs by Distal he improved though but still used to do better stuff. I like some of the texture and stop/start action in the Acre tune but it would fare better as an album filler. Otherwise the tunes you've mentioned are my favorite picks also

Thanks - I posted it in Mixes a while ago but it was tragically overlooked by most. Cannot overstate how much I love this album - not a bad song on it, and it's refreshing cuz I don't normally go for pop/R&B/vocal stuff... something about it just makes me want more. Love the graphic too.

I thought Tectonic Plates 4 was the best one yet to be honest! The Jakes track is definitely club tackle, sure, but I thought it was a solid effort overall. Lot of really encouraging/unplaceable sounds. The primordial ooze is bubbling again...
