Neither system has been fully exploited from a dev standpoint yet. But, from what I've seen, the PS3 is difficult to dev for (as is all Sony hardware) but will yield more impressive results over time as the devs get more time with the system.

Nah. I hate them and their shit games. A lot of mates went to work there and now wish they hadn't.
yeah EA games pretty much suck. desert strike was okay though. activision (blizzard, lol) games are ass too.
they're like the coke and pepsi of the games industry.

With PS3, its a piece of shit, but it has a Blue Tooth player, but doesn't play in full badass glory... get a 360 and fuck it... more games. PS3 is a complete failure IMO.

Its a tough one I have to say. I know the PS3 is the stronger console, it has 7 processers compaired to is it 3 gerneral purpuse processors in the 360.
Thing is...
GTA is only out on 360
360 has way more games
Massive online following

Looking like its a brick in water, not sell os they have to slash prices
Not being easy tpo Dev for compaired to Microsoft who built software for the dev's to build easly!
Just being a lil bit of a techy my heart says go with PS3 cos after time it will be the better console, has to be once dev's start pushing it BUT everyone else says 360, games look mad plus did I say GTA...

in terms of the other games available:
I literally haven't got time for final fantasy's.
gran turismo forgets about the key element of games...escapism, something which makes burnout the 1st choice for driving games imho.
i don't really like stealth/multiple ways to complete objectives (linear gaming is such a neglected/misunderstood concept these days), so metal gear isn't the one for me either.
right now i reckon 360 is the way forward. it has a decent catalogue of games, excellent online experience, is almost the same price as a wii(!!) and continues to get games released on it that were originally ps3 exclusive .

I went Xbox route purely by accident geez. I was actually out shopping for lemsip and banana's whilst skiving from work with flu, but then realised buying an xbox was a better investment in my health. I think if you phone NHS direct they will confirm that.
Will prob get a ps3 next winter when the man flu season kicks in again.
Burnout Paradise is out Friday, anyone know if its any cop?

)
Burnout is getting rave reviews. i kinda suck at driving games but if i was to buy one, it would prob be that.
