Any serious producer using reason will be using it rewired with a host application. This is why it has no VST support. Aint that much of a need for it.

It's still not really enough. It's one instrument in and of itself. Reason sounds like Reason, and generally it's really thin and flimsy.

Ableton Live makes Reason worth anything, but even then it's pretty meh.

darkside u jus need to have more shit goin on, its not that its bad its just kinda empty. Fuck around with pads and stuff. You never rele notice the background parts in songs until u get into producing i found. Just keep at it, you shudda heard the crap i came up with when i started.
