hasn't played much at all. about 20 minutes against chelsea and another 15 last weekend but looked class

wouldn't have minded having lee martin on loan but that pisshead up in sheffield has brought him in in his attempts to get yet another team relegated

I don't see Martin having a future with us, but he's definitely a good player at championship level. Lee looks a better prospect for me.

The player you should be after is Wellbeck, he could be a bit special if he develops, has a similar style to Kanu.

i was in the pub with a couple of bindippers last night, the only plus point for them was that the other teams challenging for europe drew.

That one was pretty good.

But anyway....

Very happy with Arsenal's season so far, exceeding all expectations to be neck and neck with Man U. To be honest, between the two of us we've had too many losses/draws (Man U have the lions share of the losses on that count but we've been held too many times for my liking) and should have at least a 10 point lead over Chelsea right about now but at least Liverpool are more than making up for that in terms of underachievement...even if they win their game in hand they'll still only be level on points with Everton.

Players of the season so far are easily Flamini, Adebayor, Clichy and of course Cesc, even if he's not hitting the form of early season.

My news years wish is for Ronaldo to get some kind of ligament/achilles/hernia/leprecy/crabs problem to keep him out for a few months/years.

Generally a good season. Would be good to see Derby picking up more points to make the drop zone more mobile but there's still plenty of teams playing shite to make it an interesting fight to stay up. Fulham especially are hitting new lows, before they were a beacon of mid-table mediocrity now they can't even live up to that reputation).

In terms of UEFA cup places/mid table business I'm really pleased for Villa to be where they are. O'Neill is a class act and it's good to see him turn a team of perennial underachievers into a cohesive, passionate unit using some of the slimmest resources in the top flight. Wish Pompey would sort out that home form as they are still a very likeable team, hope they get into Europe this year.

Only on the up last few games, and those were against 2 teams in the top 5 ! ?

Also bought a couple of defensive signings so we see how they go. Norwich on saturday

I must admit i am surprised that Arsenal are lasting the course, i'd hoped that you'd have a bad xmas and the african nations would affect you (gutted togo didn't make it!) but you have been pretty consistent, and Eduardo is coming good wwith Van Percival still to come back.

As for Villa they are a decent hard working side but probably need a bit more flair to move on as they are too reliant on set-pieces for goals.

Bradford City, and we are doing terrible. Drew 1-1 with wrexham last weekend. Things are ridiculous. As long as we don't get relegated I'll be happy with that.

I'd love to see us ( Derby ) pick up more points too, we reached the dizzying high of 8 last night. Whoop whoop.
