It's total BS that men are more disposed to producing, tweaking nobs, working mixers and turntables and spending hours working with technical gear than women.

So true - i share a house with one of the producers mentioned in the article and her production, technique and sound crafting puts mine to shame... i stand to learn alot

If I had a dime for every time my husband told me, "stop it, it sounds fine, you're overproducing, etc", I'd... be $2.50 deeper towards our Roland JP-8000 fund.

There were actually substantial interviews with everyone mentioned in that piece which I'd assume were cut at the eleventh hour. Good read anyway though - we've come a long way from the days of bad dubstep reporting.
