I'll hire out one of my pockets to you for a fiver, then once inside the club you can do your thing.
amateurs we all know you hit the club with the big soundsystem first THEN the afterpartyDeepThought wrote: annoyingly hardly anyone turned up cos one of the kids decided at the last minute to have a house party and they all went to that instead - ungrateful feckers.
yeah i have been to a few dubstep gigs at festivals, saw magnetic man at glastonbury.AHernia wrote:14... Well too young for dubstep raves, you definetly wont be able to get in to bars here in the UK but I'd check for festivals or outdoor events like that, some might have some good dubstep sets on.
This is one of the best tricks ever, I know some people who get the student card for amazing prize reductions on public transport and then erase their name and give it to their friends. Then they can just get another one.A Man Called Dave wrote:All about filling in a application for a student card in one of those pens you can rub out. getting your tutor to sign it then changing your D.O.B.

Anyway this might be the place to ask since I'm curious : how ofted do you see 18+ gigs? As I've said I don't think I've ever been to one.
Is FWD for over 16's then? or are they just more relaxed than other places about age restrictions, would be pretty sick if i could get in to that.A Man Called Dave wrote:14 is a bit young to try a club but over 16 you might as well give FWD ago on a sunday.

FWD is over 18 and normally check IDs but arent fussy about what kind of ID in my experience and arent too strict on a sunday.nednarm wrote:Is FWD for over 16's then? or are they just more relaxed than other places about age restrictions, would be pretty sick if i could get in to that.A Man Called Dave wrote:14 is a bit young to try a club but over 16 you might as well give FWD ago on a sunday.

I'm not saying kids shouldn't experience music at a party. I just dont think it needs to be a proper rave. Under 18 parties should be thrown, but if it's going to be set up at a venue at night maybe keeping it under 18 would be a good idea. I know not everyone has an ID from the uk, though... or do all schools issue ids now?spencerTron wrote:on a nappy night? it might be true but you can't have em wrapped in cotton wool. i work with teenagers who are moving out of care on to independency, (normally The Rude-Boy-Think-They're-An-MC-Will-Steal-Anything-type of lad) who love dubstep and grime (i'm often giving em mixes from here) and the under 18's gigs/clubs are a really good way of them being able to go out without being at risk from the crap you get at adult gigs which they only try to go to anyway. i want to know of some.
i actually HATE being 14..
Anyway, a lot of them love grime and dubstep, they don't get to go to any of the gigs, just the cheesy nappy nights put on by fat business men on very rare occasions.
