why is this a whole us v them thing? single people and coupled people are equally necessary.

Single people have the liberty to actualize a lot of their dreams without having to think about anyone else. They have freedom and can enjoy solitary lives.

Coupled people have the opportunity to share a deep love with someone else and enjoy the company of someone special.

At some point, most people will probably be both. Inclusion in one doesn't elevate it. And exclusion from one doesn't elevate it.

If you're happy being single, then you're happy being single, regardless of whether the whole world got married or not, not in spite of it. And if you're in a relationship, the potential compromises you make for the sake of including someone else in your life are completely worth it.

yeah i'm never a fan of stayin in a bad relationship just for the sake of it. i spent 4 years doing that. get out while you can while its good...

i took a year off from my last to now. every guy i had been with in the last 10 years cheated or lied or proved to be dishonest. i shoulda spent the time by myself but i got trapped in the idea that i had to be with someone to count. to be whole. to matter. it was silly really.

i spent so much time trying to be with someone that i didn't pay attention to what i wanted or what made me happy. thats no good. that was really shitty, actually. i really should have just been by myself and figured out who i was.

just be happy being who you are. i want people to be happy. in or out of a relationship, the most important one we can ever have is the relationship we have with ourselves.
