Safe to everyone who's posting ideas an that, appreciate it all alot.

I like the card idea but if doors open at 9ish then the battles at 11ish then they would have to hold onto the cards to for like 3 hours which may be unlikely

Im gona chat to a few smaller labels an see if any of them are interested

Yeh i'll be making it clear we love both dubstep an dnb, but its just the general concept for the night,
considering the raves i put on are 50/50 dnb an dubstep

Are you walking into this with your eyes closed and high on weed with the "yeah man" attitude?

You are asking random labels to take part? Shouldn't you consult your peers?

What are you on about mate, all im doing is asking for people for their ideas on what they think would be best..
Cause obviously im just a club promoter, but most people on here spend alot more time going out to different types of raves, so they would have a good idea on what works best...

To be honest Ashley your attitude is shit, and arrogant.

Don't reply unless you have anything constructive to say

I am just basing my opinion off of this:
im waiting on them to send me a mix, but their records seem pretty good, aswell as they seem to have a rep about
Sounds like you really have no clue.

Also earlier you mentioned money wasn't an issue? I am not a DNB fan as such but why don't you ask an obvious name and one that would pull in a crowd such as hospital or get some big names to do it instead...

Yeh obviously it would be sick to say get breakbeat chaos or hospital an put them against like tempa or dub police, but moneys not much of an issue to an extent. Cause im sure big big labels like those are gona charge bare cause they wont really seem the need to.

Plus the raves i put on are called Nu:Blood
which is based around getting new blood in the industries into clubs an that.

So using lesser known labels seems to be the best solution/

Well in my opinion if you are hiring out a big club like The End or Fabric then you will need a big name to pull in the numbers or they will just go off to a different room.

Agree with this. Obviously its up to you how you want to do this, but it will probably be a lot more effective to get a smaller cheaper venue, hire a sound system and get a few lesser known but quality labels down. You could even promote is as a battle but just go off applause or something?

Well with clubs like Fabric they promote themselves. Fabric first members etc. But I seriously doubt any 'superclub' well let you hire it out with a weak line up.

Yeh people might be really passionate about the music, but you still have a dance floor to fill.

it would be sick if you just put on a night, like had the flyer as a boxing match flyer (obv thats been done b4), but then like call it 145-150, you can play what you want as long as its in those timeframes, because really, you cant compare genre's with a battle, its more a test of mixing skills and how far through the floor you can make my jaw fall
