you can draw it in or record it live
just assign a controller to say the flstdui x/y controller and record that knobs automation is how i used to do it back when

you're automation sounds fine to me, but layering a cloned version with some distortion and adding some res to the filter will help out, kinda preset sounding tune atm, but you're getting there
we all started somewhere

yeah all the drums and synth lead we just presets.

I suppose it would be better to search for drum sounds on the net maybe?

What do you mean when you say cloned version.

Also, do you mean add distortion and res to the wobble bass?

ok i never really used reason, but like a pre fader send of the bass to like a send effect to layer over original
and add a distortion plugin and/or crank up the resonance on your low pass filter
edit: read about layering sounds and eq splitting in threads man
