+1 (maybe less exaggeration on the '23 pages of big ups' though...)
I'm wondering if the hate would've been flowing if they'd known it was Rossi B & Luca in the first place... It might've got a bit more respect.

To be honest i kind of agree cos i hate when someone remixes a classic tune that i love and makes a mess of it, but at the same time i think u can sample what u like (getting it cleared is another matter

), just make sure that if its a serious classic u make a complete banger out of it, theres always gonna be people questioning if u should have sampled it but no1 can deny a complete banger

True, i can't remember the name of the song but there's this hip hop track that samples crosstown traffic to great effect

not at all. no hate is flowing from me, i just think its a bit of tragic 12"
i'm sure some people will read this thread, love the tune and go buy it. this wasn't meant to be a negative thread - i asked how people felt about the tune.
in my opinion it doesn't matter who made it. there's mala tunes i'm not keen on, but they don't rape a classic hendrix tune, so its fine by me!
no offence/direct disrespect at rossi b & luca. i spent about 10 years growing up learning nearly every hendrix track inside out on the guitar - his music is pretty sacred to me.
still - i'm not going to lose sleep over a whitelabel. just if i heard that tune in a dance, i would be looking for 'a way out of here' much like jimi

Its preference, simple as that.
Anyone who knows these 2 work rates and what they have done in both scenes. Not about hate, about choice.
