In regards to the white tattoo. I had a friend that wanted one, and pretty much every tattoo artist she talked to advised her against it. Especially since she wanted hers without an outline. They all said it would just fade and "bleed out" over time.

i'll have to do some research on the white tattoo, i think theres someone on this board (maroon?) whos got a lovely one, and i've been getting real dark in the sun lately and i think it would look good. will have to investigate further

thats actually my favorite. 4 sessions, 1 for the circle (was a separate tattoo, my second ) and 3 for the wings. would have been 2 but i tore my shoulder up skateboarding right before my last session. .

Exactly. It's in Spanish because I got it in Argentina. Started using my body as a passport. Every country I go to I get another one. Since I always have ideas for tats, I just look for a quality artist (if i cant find one, i dont get one, its not that serious.)

As for not getting a small one to see how much it hurts QFT. I got a small one in the basement of my friends house cause she just bought a gun. I got it for a reason but it could have been so much better. I have plans to add to it, not cover, just add.

Oh yeah, as for pain goes. Shins plus 3 days of a 5 hour session each day (3 days in a row like.) isn't recommended.

I've always thought it a bit strange to get a tattoo in a language you don't speak/understand. I guess that's just me though. I heard about a Japanese tattoo artist who was tattooing little white girls up with things like "I'm a huge homo", "fuck me", etc in Japanese when they asked for things like "faith", "love", etc.

Had my first session on my back piece yesterday, 6 hours! Looks absolutely amazing though...it is a guardian angel, traditional looking angel, 3d, holding a baby representing my daughter and the fact I cant be with her and watch over her all the time, 2 more 6 hour sessions and should be done.


It is very painful especially shoulder blades and down the spine!!
