check out some of the trillbass crew, they have a hard sound, i guess you could relate it to metal.
also if you go on beatport and look on the top downloaded tracks its usually flooded with intense-wonk

Yeah, try:
Distance - Twilight
Benga - Dramatic
and a couple more distance tunes, dramatic is a prime example though even though benga generally isnt really a metalstep artist lol. assuming obviously that metalstep refers to dub tunes which basslines sound like a guitar riff rather than electronicly studio produced bass.
