Really nice work there. I like the atmosphere the "guitary" synth, or whatever it is, creates. I do realize a Love Filter, don't I? :>
The High-Hats could pipe down a slight bit. The bass is alright, but I think it could be a bit softer/less raspy, hence supporting the smooth gloomy mood a bit more.
Damn you completely called that love philter, nice, haha, do you feel like it sounds cheesy or whatever? i was just trying to add some depth to the instrument, cant really tell how it turned out.

when i get back to the studio ill definitely mess with the oscs on my bass, i have alot of weird waveforms in there so maybe i should just throw on another sine or see if i can clean it up a bit. ill definitely post another copy later tonight

I actually think it's alright, despite the fact it is easily recognizable. Maybe you should just mess with the settings/automations a little.

made this with a mate over the past couple weeks on and off

2nd drop bline midrange needs work as does drum filtering.... a lot of channels but nearly there. Compression seems to have given the bounce a filthy ringing type sound :/

Let me know what yout think, bear in mind this is my first tune I think is worthy of listenin too
lp wrote:Nice one on the feedback guys, was just wondering if anyone thinks the percussion is too loud in the mix and weather the breakdown before the 2nd drop works well wth the rest of the tune.
Wow, really tight, moody stuff here. I love it! Also think it's quite there already, but concerning the breakdown I got this, bugging me: the synth starting at 2:58 is too choppy and should play more smoothly i think (especially with the sample at 3:00/3:01). Maybe add some attack or something. A slight change in it's melody might also help the whole thing. The High-Hats in the intro could be a little weaker, but except that, the mix is fine imo. Awesome one!

Solid bassline but I think it's a bit too constant. I like the subs in this one! You had me laughing at 0:55 though, when the Counter-Strike sounds kicked in. :>

anyway, this is the foundation of tune im workin on>> Soundcloud
Really liking the piano sample and synths, obviously the song could be longer, I think the drums could be given some more punch and maybe add a saturator to your bass line to fatten it up, other then that I think your on to something pretty good.
SAFE, yh this is just half of the actual tune cuz i jus uploaded enuff 4 you 2 get an idea.. anything u want me to drop feedback on btw?

wow! sound's sick mate...only thing i would really recommend is to chuck some atmospherics in the mix, maybe just one...apart from that im really feeling it, hit me up with a 320 if your handing them out when finished cause i'd love to rinse this :wink:

Not that good at this feedback lark but just had a quick little listen through some tracks.

@p3rt2k8
Pretty cool, bit of a head nod. Think it just needs some extra bits to add interest. Maybe put in some percussion along the way to give it pace or something.

@tripwire22
Synth sounds sick when it drops. Sub will definitely make this.

@dj.c.jay
Really nice intro. Drums are too quiet when they come in though, don't give enough impact. Nice atmosphere though, really like it. Tune at 2:30 is fucking sick!

@marshy
Really like that bass, very nice.

@don88vito
Piano is sick, was gonna recommend more bassy shit, but then the wobble came in. Would like to hear the drums come through more to really vibe to it.

Couple tracks of mine... this one I made earlier:

and this one I did ages ago but could never figure how to finish it off...
