Most bjj practitioners are very humble guys, you do obviously get a few meatheads that think that because they watch ufc and know how to do a kimura that they're well 'ard but those sort of of people never usually last very long or learn to adjust their attitude.
Deffo agree about it helping build confidence but i think you could say that about most martial arts tbf
I really wish I could afford to get into a decent bjj school but it's just so expensive and saving for Mexico is much more of a priority at the moment, I do hope to one day have a blackbelt though but that won't be for a VERY long time, I'm still ungraded

They sell blackbelts in jjb mate. Wear one all the time, you'll never have to use your non-existent skills. That way you save money and time, and can look calm and wise by saying that you hope to never have to use your skills (which would be true).

But something that really bothers me is this:

We get our facebook updates like 3 months after the rest of the world, not noticed any new layout yet, unless you mean how the profile page has been moved around so posts only show on the right?

Well not just post on the right. You can actually hide all these nonsense info boxes now without changing your privacy settings. Your about section is now full and well showed to the world. And there's a glitch in the years.
And if you're the slowpokes I wonder what the rest is, since facebook tells me only 7 of my friends have this new layout as well.
I signed up for it myself though, the faster I get used to it, the better.
