Sounds fuckin nice, a few production tweaks would sort it out. Try and bring the drums up a little bit, a hard hitting snare would really compliment the bass line. Sounds like there's a bit of bass clipping as well.

Thanks, yeah I just sorted out my mixing issues... Everything was just way too fucking high in the mix and arbitrarily distributed. Bring it down but pumping the system volume sounds much better than just a blasted out mix. I'm gonna experiment with another snare layer, as I kind of put this kit together real fast just to start messing around.
Will upload a V2 at some point, but any other comments would be appreciated

I'm new here. I started producing dubstep/dnb/jungle a couple months ago and it has changed my life dramatically...
I'm now a music major.. and my dream is to become a professor at a university teaching in an electronic music studio.
anyways, I got a new computer because my old one died... but before it did, I made something with my daughter and posted it on myspace.
its the last song on the page titled "a work still in progress".. its not the best thing anyone has heard, but you get where I'm coming from. I have only shown this to a few people, but I feel like you guys would be able to give me honest answers as well as some helpful constructive criticism.
HERE IS THE LINK:
http://www.myspace.com/kickassbadassthereckoning .... its at the bottom of the music player. the other tracks are TIGHT. Westcoast dub and Mad House are some hard vocal dubstep bangers.. check em too if you'd like.
Lemme know if I'm off to a decent start. PeACE

Yea cutting frequencies whilst boosting volume is always a good idea. Stops things from getting too convoluted.

I'd agree with previous comments that you may way to add a little bit more variation and energy to the song. I'd concentrate on your lead synth to bring that into the song. I do like where the rmx is heading!

This song has been updated a bit... Fixed the levels and some of the drum parts. Let me know what you think.

Just a loop i made. I make a loop, polish it up, listen to it for a week, then start something new. That's how it goes with me, i never finish anything...

It needs some more variation... It seems mostly like atmosphere for me. Of course if you're going for a chilled out vibe, it might not need much else, save for some drum and bass...

Blimey, well I have no idea whats going on here. Started out as something completely different, then I kind of got intrigued by this like...I dunno, weird lounge piano vibe. Fuck knows, but I swear theres something sick possible! Anyhoo, stoked with the percussion, just cant quite figure one thing. Spent hours today trying to sort out the tuning on the bass and the piano, but just cant seem to get some of the chords to gel. I might have over listened it, but anyone got any thoughts? Would be well appreciado
To be fair, I think its more a collection of ideas than a tune at the moment, but i whacked it into some kind of frameworky thing...
