I swear Obama actually called this in not so long ago! It's actually starting to look like the internet could fraction in to regional blocks for political reasons, I also just read in the Economist that most traffic never leaves national boundaries so this could plausibly happen without a big difference.

Why don't we have a constructive discussion of how to solve all the problems in the world? Arguing amongst ourselves will get us nowhere

Generally speaking, me thinks this is virtually impossible. Extremists from all sides have ruined the art of the debate. No one knows how to compromise anymore.

We can't better ourselves as human beings if people can't let go of their individual idealistic dreamworlds. No one is willing to work together.

haha, I really don't feel like running through everything. I did like 10 or 12 the other day on the production board, the ratio of euro to us is like 12/1. Basically just about everything is of euro origin.

Korea (Samsung), Germany (Ableton/Hartke), Belgium (Fruity Loops), Japan (Ibanez, Sharp, Sony, Toshiba...). I might have a Dell processor but a lot of USA components are just Asian-made with a corporate stamp on, it was reckoned to be a national security problem by someone in federal government since terrorists could install remote off-switches No shit though, I can't find a lot of USA stuff, the UK does a sizable amount of its own manufacturing as well as exporting (Sheffield Forgemasters, for instance) so that might be why though we're probably a more important centre for services (2nd biggest outside USA).
