Don't worry give it a week and we'll have someone new deciding to start up their mastering service, maybe they'll be a little more polite to their potential client-base, but then again.....Project EX wrote:shit went so fast that i had no time to get some popcorn![]()

Dude its all part of his awesome marketing strategy.lowpass wrote:Haha exactly, he just insulted near enough everyone on the forum by saying that nobody owns a single license to their software, yellowhighlighter wrote:tbh i don't know why everybody here gave you such a hard time. you just posted a thread saying you were offering a mastering service. no big deal really.
builderbeats wrote:Thanks everybody for taking the time reply. I know how busy you all must be.builderbeats wrote: Unlike most here, I actually own my software. Why don't you all post your license keys as proof of purchase...lol.
actually fuck you.
for a fair few people I guess he's right, but when I've just shelled out over a grand for a new setup including a legit version of Logic 9 it can make you a bit pissy.
Maybe he doesn't own his own software and wants our keys to he can unlock his own cracked software![]()
Way to distance your market![]()

step 1:
Don't bother to learn anything about mastering
step 2:
make a website, and be vague
step 3:
insult your market
step 4:
disrespect the true mastering engineers in the world.
step 5:
sit back and wait for all the business to roll in
maybe this was the same plan for his successfull, rather failed web design business.
Why the fuck would you pay for a ROUGH MASTER.fish finger wrote: 2. Some of you noticed that he did respond to a post by stating that this is not top of the line mastering but he will get your tune to sound better, and I think some of you would admit that yes alot of folks are making good tunes but even a rough master is needed.
so you say this then... and then you say this:builderbeats wrote:W I'll just outsource my work to you under another name and get 10 bucks for nothing because my marketing is better, how's that?
And you are monitoring on these :builderbeats wrote:I haven't been too concerned with my "marketing strategy" or "FAQ"

you obviously, with your 17 years of musical experience, can't seem to understand what turnmeup.org is trying to say, or what the loudness war is.builderbeats wrote:A. No defense for turnmeup.org huh. Didn't think so.![]()
We'll unfortunately for you, you have neither the essentials, or credentials. So by your own logic you should just stop.builderbeats wrote:C. This isn't about credentials. Its about essentials.![]()

and while you are saying this, you previously talk shit on other mastering engineers out there.builderbeats wrote:1. I started this post as a simple message. I'm not trying to take over the industry, master top producers or take business away from the many other services out there.
Funny because a lot of the people who posted on here are prosperous in the industry, label owners, and extremely talented musicians. And you are right what you are doing is not completely useless its just sleazy and bastardizing.builderbeats wrote:Look homies, the simple fact is: My "shit" is prosperous. My "idea" has ground to gain. And no one in their right mind would listen to these negative statements posted so eagerly. I'm sorry if you feel that this offering is completely useless, this only illustrates your lack of imagination and entrepreneurism.
This was just quoted for humor, especially the gear listing. You are repeatedly proving your ignorance on the subject of mastering.builderbeats wrote: My software and hardware is completely legit and paid for. I use Logic with iZotope Ozone 3 on a Power Mac G5 Dual 2.0 outputting to M-Audio BX5's and a Velodyne DPS subwoofer in a 12'x10'x12' room that is completely crammed with my live sound system. Treated, lol. Treated would be a treat. Again, that's not what I'm offering.

There is a lot to be learned in this thread, and I hope that you can learn it for the sake of any of your future business endeavors. In all honesty, and with no agenda.
