great things these days!
also to feasible weasel: Future garage is pretty much still dubstep, now aint it?

i just still enjoy dubstep as garage, grime, future garage, - everything between 135 and 145 is dubstep for me (makes life more easy)
how can this sound anything like dubstep
Has this been released? I need this.

sounds more like early dubstep to me than any dubstep being produced today

also, this is how you embed a vid
to me, future garage is the very begining of dubstep, revisted. it's cool to give it a new name and all, but for those of us who've been listening to edm for over 20 years, it doesn't make it different music to just give it a new name
here's my favortite dubstep track. its closer to 130 than 140 but it was one of the earliest dubstep releases... sounds like "future garage" to me, lol
as Shakespeare once asked: is a rose by any other name just as sweet?

i pressed video twice....
their a producers coming up,who are making their stuff who dont make dubstep, and people coming back to 2step who used to make it....again future garage,is 2step....but the melodies are more inline with dark garage and some darker dubstep....

i understand the concept, and was one of the first people on the FGF, however genre names are subjective, so we'll have to agree to disagree. 90% of the dubstep i play has either a 2step or house beat... go figure

in a future garage set,so its basically 2step with other elements,u can play bassline and 4 x4 as its garage..

i play UKG, bassline, hip hop, dubstep, FG, UKF , grime, tropical and whatever you call it in a set when i play... dubstep is just a type of garage, future garage is as well, so whatever. burial is who comes to mind when i hear the word future garage, but to me he's dubstep. both are silly names really, *shrug* you say potato, i say potahto

i like it all now, as the genre developed, my taste has changed. but ive always loved that sort of dubstep that you could lay alone in your room listening to making it feel like you're driving down a lonesome road in heavy rain. really emotional shit.

But taking it back to the garage...

got into dubstep in 2005, during the dark halfstep era. none of the current stuff really does it for me. the DMZ 3x12" will probably be one of the last dubstep releases i'll ever buy tbh, if things stay the way they are.
