thats not really the point. technological advancement isn't going to make wind farming obsolete. look at windmills for example; hundreds of years old in holland. like all renewable energy ideas, they sponsor green initiatives. it enables whole states (usa as an example) to get off the grid and stop using powerplants that create ozone depletion. windfarmed power every hour is helping the environment. its not about making shitloads of money, but making moderate returns over a long time. you don't invest in renewables for 5 years and sell.
