Thought i'd bump this and provide some feedback...
I've been using Denis for all the mastering needs on Bacon Dubs and i'm well happy with the results. Couldn't recommend him high enough. Fair prices, quick service and phat masters. Can't complain!

Will you master any style of electronic music? Does genre even matter when it comes to mastering?

hi, when mastering what effects/techniques do you use? are there any particular software plugins you would recommend, as i'd like to have a go at mastering my own tracks. i've also heard that the mastering process can make tracks sound bigger (stereo and depth), if this true, what is done to do so?
cheers

Hi,
First of all its about what your hear and decisions you take to make your music sound better. Your can learn it only through your sweat:)
There are some secret things every engineer has. I learned some form others as well and made my own ones.
Usually the less you do the better. Most important is comparing the original mix to the mastered one through all the steps of eq, compression, stereo widening, limiting you apply in your chain. Then you know if u destroy it or fix:) And make your room acoustically great, buy mastering grade monitors, spend years learning:)
Elisya and UAD has some nice plugs for digital mastering needs.
Cheers

I use
http://www.gikacoustics.co.uk/ traps and panels. Guys are also very helpful giving tips on your specific room.
Also you have to make professional measurements. I had a help from my friend who came with mic and analyzed my room with software.
This helped with monitors and sub-woofer placement a lot.
SO to say if you make serious effort u get the result.
