Coincidentally, I prematurely ejaculated while browsing this forum three times this week.

they can't really. Reason is backwards compatible which means you can open Reason 1 files in Reason 6. if they updated the sound engine all your old tracks will sound different, and different might not be better.
digital summing is all the same and any new devices will have better sound than the older ones.

been playing with the beta for a while and tbh I'm really loving the new devices. the echo and pulveriser are just super nice efects. pulveriser especially has some interesting features. haven't read the manual on alligator yet. just been using it a sort of "load preset, turn knob, result" sort of way but so far I've been liking what I've been hearing. you can get some really nice glitchy drums going by sending a loop through it.

Pulverizer looks promising. The others... Well, it's not like you couldn't do what they did with some complex routing. The pulverizer tho, new distortion algorithms are always welcome. I'm very, very glad they put reason/record together tho.

Those filters too!
I love comb filters and now they integrate it into a distortion unit? It was like sex to me!

I just wish we had another formant filter because the one in thor kinda sucks. :/

that really should be all you need in this department.....

Does look interesting. Seems like they couldn't get their shit together for 5 to get Record's features in Reason or something. Glad they fixed this glaring omission. The ability to use audio really is going to get you reason guys going full steam. Cheers.
