played chess since I was about 7 but stopped a few years ago. used to play in competitions and stuff (I wasn't that good)

this thread makes me want to take it up again

enjoy playing a game here and there. played a few games with grillis recently. I did not win.

got one mate I used to play with quite a bit, my problem is I get too wrapped up in my own plans for wiping him out and neglect to anticipate his plans and end up making stupid mistakes.

I don't really know if I'm any good. I haven't played in years. I love the glass chess sets, they're beautiful. My friend had one and I was always frosted glass.
