I will never understand this about people and music.
It's a wedding, not a night for the heads. Not the right time to play all your techno imports from Hardwax
All about changing perceptions. It's time for Drokkr to upset the status quo with a night of Basic Channel.

Theme the invites too, can't decide if Basic Wedding or Bridal Channel is better

Wow I would think twice before I accept playing at a wedding :D No matter how much money,
I once got 90 quid for watching tv.

I'd go with jazz, or stuff that goes for easy listening or something. Maybe some deephouse further on.

Take the intersection of stuff that you like with stuff that everyone will recognize. Guilty pleasures, classic anthems, that sort of stuff. Don't worry about beatmatching or anything because noone will care - play stuff that you love but you wouldn't usually play out.

If I was booked to play at a wedding based on the pedigree of top international DJ superstardom that I haven't got, I'd basically play some or all of: 2-tone / ska, motown, 60's pop, classic reggae, cheesy hip hop, pop garage, really obvious rave anthems, all the good stuff...

Not lying when I say I used to live next door to the blonde guy that sat on the floor playing the accordion. Nice bloke.

Drummer was in my dad's class at school. Out to those with tenuous links to Dexy's Midnight Runners.
