i hate facebook because it's become something you need to have to do ordinary things, like view other websites' content, buy stuff, receive invites to or notification of events

Otherwise unrelated things that have just been lumped into fb. They want fb to be the internet. synced with your tumblr synced with your bank synced with this and that etc. They even created email addy's for users and made them the default without asking or notifying.
They're scum, it's gotten too huge
If you need that kind of network fine i guess, myself I have few enough friends that my cell phone and a few email addresses does the trick

There's a difference between using it and needing it dude. I like it, but whatever, just my opinion, we have different purposes.

Don't get the whole fuss over the email address thing, I haven't noticed a single difference since this was bought in.

and you're sitting there wondering wtf? because you must be the only person left who doesn't HAVE facebook... that's what i mean by needing it to view other content
