Snake in eagle's shadow is cool, so is Snake in Monkeys shadow... the original drunken master shizzle ( and preceding it I think?)

Dave Carradine is also cool in " silent flute " written by Bruce lee ( not starring unfortunately due to death )

wonder who used that flute sample...

whats the one where jet lis got the litlle kid tied to him and he uses it as a weapon?
and surely the best one ever was the last samurai!

only tom cruise could go to japan as a pasty faced yank and be taught all the deepest darkest secrets of the samurai, he is quite lovable.

in the way that i love puttin antiseptic into my open wounds.

SAFE!! is that different to 5 deadly venoms AKA crippled avengers?

If so is it the same actors?

In my opinion they are the dons of Kung-fu as is Joseph KUO ( director )

I saw the latest Miike Takashi movie a while back at the cinema, Ryuu ga Gotoku. It's based on the PS2 game of the same name (released as "Yakuza" outside Japan). Worst film I've ever seen. As opposed to most of his other movies which I really love. I know they don't fit into the title of the thread really but which are everyone's favourites? For me it has to be Fudoh the New Generations or Dead or Alive.

This might be because I've been out in the sun for too long but I don't remember seeing Drive mentioned. For a cheap direct-to-video movie it's pretty good.

Must check out all these films mentioned.

FUKASAKU bit's are cool, there's a lot though

All about the cars in them movies for me..

LOVE how the Japanese enthusiasts set them up nowadays..

slammed to fuck, super chromed out, grey tints, roof chops the lot.
BUT tastefully, not like the yanks.

super immacculate conditions too.

When I win the lottery, i'm gonna get me a badboy Cedric, an' stick a R32 skyline lump and tackle in it ( goes straight in, so i hear ) WATCHOUT NUREMBURG RING I'm comin' ( vot is dat stterange auld car meine herr ) LOL

I thought Visitor Q was rubbish, more into mad violence than just madness.

I just started buying the original Lone Wolf & Cub manga, rock ard Japanese! Need to get the dictionary out for some of that. Each book is also a lot longer than the rip-off English versions.

The spanish edition is like the original almost 400 pages per number. is a great great manga, one of my favorites alongside the material of Jiro Taniguchi.
