Shit his "injuries" look tamer than a fall off a skateboard or a typical high school fist fight.
If he was being "overpowered" and "his life was in danger" how the hell did he manage to get his gun and shoot?
He didn't even have to take the stand because he blabbed so much pre-trial in interviews and his footage with cops to know the guy had no place doing what he was.
I don't know about you, but if I'm walking home at night in the rain and some guy is following me, doesn't identify who they are or if they're cops, if they approach me I'm going to be on the defensive and might even strike first if they don't state their intent.
One things for sure even if found not guilty take this fuckers concealed carry license away.
the law just states that zimmerman needs to be in fear for his life. he doesn't even need injuries. if im walking home at night in the rain i can understand if someone is alarmed by my presence even if i dont have any illegal intent. if someone immediately goes for the violent option after someone approaches them then that is a problem. that is where trayvon fucked up, he got into a fight with zimmerman and was supposedly on top of him. trayvon had wounds on his knuckles so that supports zimmerman's story. he gave zimmerman a broken nose so i doubt he was trying to hold zimmerman's hands down to prevent him from reaching for his gun. he grabbed it and shot trayvon in the chest at point blank range.
zimmerman was wrong for following trayvon but trayvon was wrong for attacking zimmerman and unfortunately it cost him his life.
See that supports testimony only from one side, the other can't testify since they're dead. For all we know Zimmerman was the initial aggressor of the conflict, who just started losing the upper hand, and his actions up until the conflict certainly support that as a very plausible theory.
The man's own story doesn't match up to that though, and since he refused to take the stand all that's left is his police call, interviews with police, and interviews with media, all which have inconsistent and changing details.
Hell under that interpretation of the law Trayvon could have shot Zimmerman by that definition if he had been a conceal carry holder.
im not aware of what the inconsistent details are but i do think zimmerman made a mistake by not taking the stand.
i cant see how you can say that zimmerman was the aggressor and losing the upper hand when trayvon's only injury was the gunshot. it seems obvious, at least to me, that trayvon jumped on zimmerman and started pummeling him. this would mean that trayvon was on top of zimmerman, which is consistent with the gunshot wound expert's opinion.

I can say he was likely the aggressor since he was following him, and left his car after advised not to, that and since Martin had none of Zimmerman's blood on his hands, if you're beating the shit out of someone and break their nose/cover your mouth, you're gonna have blood on your fists.
A major inconsistency claiming Martin had a grip on his gun, yet none of his fingerprints or DNA were found on it.

If it was the middle of the night and someone was following me in their car I would obviously fight back in fear of my own life. Zimmerman just wants to play cop and took a young man's life in the process.

with regards to the phonecalls....how could zimmerman be the one yelling for help so clearly? especially if he's taking "25 punches" to the face and constantly having his mouth covered (all while trayvon is also pinning him down and grabbing the gun with his 5 arms). and how come the yelling stops after the shot? if you just got your ass kicked, and just shot a kid, you'd probably keep yelling.
also, there's a witness that said zimmerman was on top at one point, and that's where she thought the shot was made. we'll never know, but the defenses story isn't the truth - its just all we have since zimmerman is also refusing to testify. but I'd be afraid of incriminating myself too if I fucked up like he did.

I didnt know about this cos i dont watch telly, but reading up on it is shocking tbh. guns should be harder to get hold of in the usa. I only lived there for two years, but on many an occasion i shot rifles shotguns and handguns. I was 9yrs to 11yrs. its not acceptable to give children guns imo

ok the guy made a mistake getting out of his car but the guy was up to no good so he could feel its his duty to go and check it out, did not expect crazy ass bitch to pound on him and thus shot him, at the moment i can't see anything that even remotely says "racist" or not self defence? whats up with americans dude they are mentally brainwashed to pulp

The guy was "up to no good" by walking home from the store talking on his cell phone?
Since people want to bring up Martin was no saint with his suspensions, Zimmerman has been arrested previously for resisting arrest with violence against an officer and domestic violence with a restraining order. Such a non aggressive man.
I still want to know how with those on his record he managed to have a concealed carry license though.

listening to the phone call of george it does seem to me the guy was up to no good, what kid stands in the rain talking on the phone, staring at houses and then walkin up to the car to check or something? then runs off george follows him to see wtf he is up to and he gets smacked to fuck? wether he was white and gregory ofcourse he would still be shot, i dont see what his skin colour or whatever has to do with this at all, isnt the george dude some mexican or phililpan dude by the looks at it?
maybe im missing something major but i reckon most people would of done the same thing

Shit just don't add up, Zimmerman was supposedly MMA training yet he gets taken down by someone smaller than him.
He was pinned to the wet grass, but the back of his jacket is completely clean.
You're taking the guy on his word that he was up to no good, when it's clear he was just out looking for trouble.
This is why you don't play Charles Bronson IRL.
Shit I've been stopped by cops before walking late at night/early am be it from the store or from a late night work shift from people calling and saying "I look suspicious".
Not once has any of those people tailed me or got out of their car to approach me though, and had they I probably would have become pretty damn aggressive, especially if they didn't identify themselves as a LEA.

tbf though Deadly, his MMA trainer said himself that Zimmerman was a pussy piece of shit fighter. I think he said something like "if George was a .5 level fighter coming in, I think I probably raised him to a 1"

and not only that, what else do you think happened? he let him self get beaten up so he could shoot someone and go to trial? that shit makes even less sense than a guy who sounds genuine on the phone looking out for his nabourhood no?

Getting your ass kicked (and I'm using that phrase very loosely) is still no justification for shooting a seventeen year old kid.

thats the usas problem for allowing guns for self defence if anything, being beaten to shit for no apparant reason (they coulda chatted before and asked what they were upto if they were both suspicious but i doubt that happened and he got jumped fairly quickly) is a justification for shooting someone in my eyes

No he sounds like a guy who was racially profiling and taking up a role he should have left to the cops, probably got overconfident since he was packing, approached said person he was racially profiling, conflict ensues, kid ends up dead.
Like I said his story keeps changing up and has inconsistencies. Hell even some of the witnesses place him in control of the fight at some point before he shot him.
Even if the kid was "up to no good" or being suspicious in his eyes, it wasn't up to him to act like he was a LEA, and this is why we have one dead kid from a guy who shouldn't have been carrying a gun in the first place.
Shit I'm pro-guns and I think the "Stand Your Ground" law is beyond retarded and due to the NRA, and that there should be stricter screening for purchase and ESPECIALLY for concealed carry.
