Marc Acardipane was big in the game and started something big. With records like "We have Arrived" the producer was named the king of Hardcore.

There is still a big cult of followers for the music he made from all over the world.

I love the sound he got from all this hardware he used! Shame he sold out and now makes cheesey records.

Back in the day tho he was big at making Techno. I have seen his name come up loads in interviews by big produces in the 90s who use to big him up. There is a really blog by Simon Reynolds about a party Acardipane did in New York. That guy is known to be a right moaner and hard to please lol.

Acardipane didnt really make much money doing the dark stuff. He now plays too really big crowds (up to 100,000) playing Hardstyle/Jumpstyle.

Maybe he got fed up with playing dark Techno to sweaty blokes for 15 years :D

money talks.

when my mate introduced me to him and the pcp/franfurt sound i was blown away by the stuff. i loved it, i still do...
without his early stuff the probably wouldn't be a dutch hardcore scene today or jumpstyle going on.

the mans a legend in my book.
