Good to see others here that have an interest in metal...
I've been into metal since day 1, in fact it's one of the first types of music I really fell in love with. Here are the bands I'm currently really into.

-Mastodon
-Dream Theater
-Opeth
-Between the Buried and Me
-Dillinger Escape Plan
-Meshuggah
-Sepultura
-Arch Enemy
-Children of Bodom
-Pantera
-Damageplan
-GWAR
-Lamb of God
-Strapping Young Lad
-The Black Dahlia Murder
-Unearth

Slayer- "reign in Blood" best thrash album ever.

Carcass - Heartwork. Best metal album period. You gotta hear this album SICK!!!

Obituary- "World Demise" a close second, this is Crunchy and HEAVY, I was banging my head in the car the other day to this....fucking breaking shit.

Napalm Death. Fear, Emptiness, Despair. This album absolutely destroys.

Other good metal/death metal bands-
In Flames
Mastadon
Arch Enemy
Cradle of Filth
hypocrisy
morbid angel
deicide
cataclysm
black dahlia murder

The mp3's will be going up on www.nozl.co.uk shop to mark the release of the new "Three Styles of Death" vinyl in a couple of weeks. Promo vinyl is available now though.

Rich is finalising things with some well known digital sites aswell, so in the near future they'll be a lot more accessable for folk who want more than vinyl. All forthcoming Bloodied Blade material will be available on both formats.

The album before 'Emperor/Wrath of the Tyrant' is the best thing they ever did. Mortiis on bass as well.
