Being out at a good dubstep night is really the only time you'd catch me dancing.

And by dancing, I mean having a seizure.

With all due respect you need to get your head examined
If i had it my way there would be no girls in any dubstep rave unless they are actually there for the music... :)

hes got a massive point, there is nothing more cringe worthy of a girl being there trying to dance to it like some hiphop dancing or shit cos they have never heard of it before so they try and dance as urban as possible... massive cringeeee

i know its hypocritcal, but it looks enforced like they think the only option is too dance like that just for the sake of trying to fit in..

I know what you mean but its a hard one

i just think that any kind of ideas about whats a good way and not good way to dance puts people in the wrong frame of mind to let loose

Yeah but they are not letting loose as they dont like the music, they are there because dubstep is like pretty much in fashion now, its the new cool so they go to look cool when secretly they hate it. See uni students.

when i skank to dubstep its impossible for me to dance an talk to girls, haha and theyre always tryin to talk an dance, in front of the speakers at that, (usually the mic cord dont go any farther) its quite funny cause most times im abit buzzed an i dont think that they catch on that im not/cant/wont slow grind to some dutty basslines wit them, hahahahaha

tis worse when they come bearing blunts and joints, thi does not help tryin to get some quality one on one action in the thick of the show,....dont get me wrong i do appreciate it but jeeze how can i do the whole macking thing when caspa and rusko are meltin my mind in the background!!!!

What's with the hate-on for girls not being there for the music?

As if guys don't ever try to fit in either?

And as ideal as it sounds to have only true heads at jams, reality is that not everyone who shows up is there knowing the latest Martyn or Caspa tunes and that's ok (as long as there aren't too many of them). If it wasn't for those people buying drinks and doing their thing, many nights would not happen.

And to note, many times the guys who know their shit are often the ones being wallflowers and not getting down. Fuck that. If people are dancing and creating the energy, what's all the beef for? Girls for the most part, aren't afraid of letting loose and looking 2cool4skool.

Becaaaauuuuusssse thats just fake, they pretend they are enjoying it when in reality they wish they were somewhere else. As gwa said, its cringeeewoorrtthhyyy seeing these types of girls in a rave. But to be fair you do have a point in that there are the guys who are there doing the exact same thing. Its just that its slightly more noticable when its a girl wearing 6 inch heels, tiny white shorts and smells like a french prostitutes bedroom. :)
