While I think the image is a little OTT, really? Not even occasionally?
It doesn't happen too often, and I don't do it in the sense that I want to recreate that, and it's more with melodies/chord sounds/progressions than anything else, it's a bit more like "what the fuck did that come from?"

for me I hear a tune and im screwing out the whole night because the snare is panned slightly to the left

It's pretty obv which choice is the best and that's the guys who are in the club. If you're always in the gym, then there's no time to meet girls.
