I'd bring out the drums more / use more distinctive snares - i'd say thats the only thing lacking to the tune a really nice big snare hit.. its what that sort of style strives on.
couldnt agree more, seems a bit too focused on the synths, get the kick snare coming out a bit more and maybe work a little bit more on the drum pattern and it will be sounding great

Yeah the drums seem fairly masked they need bringing out, try cutting some of the frequency content out of the synths to help them gel together and make space for the drums

@ -boring

It has a really dark vibe to it, the vocal parts seem a little suffocated I'd cut around 1k on the other instruments to bring a bit more intelligebility through thats all I can think of though and its not really that much of an issue

@ Chewie

That tune is nice and heavy, I can't think of much to improve it tbh soz

My new tune I've moved back to reason so Im still adjusting to it, I've gotten a bit stuck so I've come to seek guidance

A little something I'm working on now, just drums and bass at this point, but not sure if I'm gonna finish it or not...I'm not at home now, but I'll leave some feedback on other peoples tracks when I can hear them on proper speakers.

@ Bat logic

lol you stayed clear of bass wobbles but theres that high wobbling sound all the way through. I thought it was pretty cool, i'd thin the synth sounds out a bit with some eq maybe

@ Knob goblin

this is sounding cool, the drums are at a nice loud level, really dark, keep at it mate

@ Deadly Habbit

This is deep man, I'm really feelin it again I'd strip away some of the frequency content of the instruments/ more layers of verb but the drums are spot on

My new tune I've moved back to reason so Im still adjusting to it, I've gotten a bit stuck so I've come to seek guidance

thanks man haven't even really started the mixdown phase yet

as far as your wip i'd layer up the snare a bit more maybe with a clap and maybe toss in some stabs in the backdrop

cool, I've got a clap in there already but I could put it higher in the mix, when you say stabs what sort of instrument did you have in mind?

word all
new to the forum and it seems like a really kick ass community you got going on. Love the fact you have a section for works in progress as id be interested to hear some dubstep producers opinions on my productions!
I'm not strictly a dubstep producer, my tunes are more of a hybrid between Dubstep and Techno, Dubstep infused techno if you will, i hope you enjoy them!
I'll be posting more tunes in the coming days.

i don't really like posting y tracks on zshare, but i trust that people are pretty legit in this forum and wont nick things.

again really feeling this got the ambience spot on
resktwo wrote:any feedback on this one would be appreciated, kinda not sure if its good or not, it's still very basic, didn't even put hats into it..
the question is: should i even work on it? my ears are'nt objective, is it interesting? does it have potential ? should i delete everything before the last loop or maybe the other way around?
