In all seriousness, I've found that facebook actually has to begun to really depress me lately so I'm beginning to stay away from it. I'm feeling the twitter vibe more atm because I can 'follow' people that actually interest me and not twats I feel I should keep in touch with out of politeness.

^^^ Yes. Twitter is the way forward i think, only need to be in touch with people you want to be, it's way less personal & theres a character limit so no sob storys about 'my lfe is zo ard y carnt u jus luv me bbe...'

Love how people think facebook is somehow the cause of the problem. It's the knobheads you call friends or the people that you don't know but for whatever reason you've accepted or added yourself.

Facebook is king of events, not sure why that isn't mentioned. I wouldn't know about 90% of the stuff I go to without FB.
