there's some good stuff here. been lurking around and listening to a few. i love the passion everyone has and the fact that people are open to criticism.

This is my first try at a proper dubstep track, dunno if its any good really, ive been fighting with the snare and cant decide how loud it should be any more and its missing little touches like some noises or samples from the intro sample. Also the intro is terrible.
This isnt the whole track obviously this goes to just before the bit before the second drop whatever its called. Any feedback would be awesome.

I'd say the intro goes on a bit too long but once it gets going theres a nice flow to the bass.

Sup dudes
New here - firsty contribution...
thought itd be best to show you what im working on (been workin on) RAAAH!
My first stabs at dubstep came from dabbling in DnB with a mate, in order to learn how to make my own synth noises (using Zeta) - wows, yois, womps, etc... then I heard some dubstep and thought it suited my previous attempts at getting into prog breaks and IDM.
Anyhoo, got these two nuggets in the gold mine:
Bob The Aunty [ no presets or premade shizzle (apart from intro loop by Bonobo ) - not strictly dubstep, but its not far off ) ]

@fuzz2k: Robocop is sounding dank. I love the bitcrushed bass, sounds reallly smooth and gritty all at once. Drums and mixdown are good too, but I dont really like the wave table sweep/glitch melody, it sounds a little raw and out of place to me. Maybe it just needs some more atmosphere around it or some more filtering? BMore is sounding great too, BTW.
@ViralCode: I really like the celest melody, and the low end of the kick negates the need for a bass in the intro. Cant wait to hear what it develops into.
Heres a little something I'm working on right now. A mix of Gamelan and dub sounds:

http://www.beatportal.com/remix/detail/ ... pretation/ ------ right, i entered into a depeche mode remix contest (as im sure countless others have), to progress through the contest, it comes down to public vote and votes by those who run the contest. so the more public votes or 'spins' i can get. the better, thanks in advanced!

The intro is sounding dark I like it, Think drums could be louder in the intro, snare sounded a little dull in it, the bassline I like has enough switches to keep it interesting.
This is my attempt below, let me know your thoughts on it

Was playing with some glitchy effects and patterns using some dub/regg samples.

Far from a beat, but I'm digging the glitch sound.
