How do you only apply an effect (ie reverb) to a single sample/sound?
Like I only wanted reverb on the snare and not the kick. How do I do it? :corncry:

Set the kick to output to Channel 1 on the mixer by setting the channel output in the top right of the sampler window, where it says FX (change to 1);

do the same with the channel the snare is on, only this time run it through Channel 2. You can then load the effects into the Mixer independantly.

Don't know if its being covered but it pisses me off greatly. when im trying to program a synth on my laptop, whenever i tweak a knob i have to click off the synth then back onto it for it to accept my laptops keyboard midi messages! i don't have this problem with my proper midi keyboard. it makes creating patches a bitch! (tweak a knob, click off synth, click back on synth, press some keys to make a sound, tweak knob again, cli.........etc)

googled but couldn't find anything! help appreciated...

Yeah dude seriously. That's one of the reasons why I fucking HATE using Massive, and why I don't use it anymore. I can't make shit because I have to keep clicking back and forth, it's annoying as fuck.

Dude, Sheff... I feel SORRY for you dude.... I don't know how you can work if ALL the synths do that for you...

and just figuring out that this channel changing thing that is happening when I attempt to scroll, then click on an fx. I need to talk to those guys. Problem over there though, if they can't reproduce the problem, they can't help. If none of you are experiencing it... odd one for sure. Still works in 9.

update on the scroll scandal of 2011! When I instantiate an fx, I click on it attempt to scroll it, nothing happens. If I then click on that fx slot, the mixer jumps to the master channel. If I go back to the mixer channel with the scrolled fx, it will now scroll. I have to do this every time I instantiate an fx. Madness. If anyone else does experience this in the future, please post it up.

the fx jump happens to me too... i think it did in 9 too. when i click an fx on a certain channel, i think twice? it jumps to another channel next to it or something like that. i think that it cant be helped.

BTW i have a bigger problem now, i get "entry point cant be found" messages. everything works but i just get this messages that i have to click every time it opens a new plugin or when i open FL itself. something with dll`s. i uninstalled and installed FL and same thing happens. Its probably a specific problem with my system only i dont expect that anyone encountered this but if you did I`d appreciate your help.

Hmm - heres something whats actually stumped me...

How do you change how many cents the wrapper pitch goes up/down? (the knob next to vol at the top). Default its 200cents I want it higher

Leg, I don't know exactly what you are referring to, but I think that what you're talking about, the pitch on the channel settings box, only applies to the pitchbend of samples. Vsti's usually handle their own pitch bend range.

But if you right click on the right of the automation block in the piano roll, you can click "Channel pitch" and pitch it down LOADS but using the actual knob its only 200cents..

Only reason I ask is that doing via the piano roll is VERY messy.

I AGREE i dont understand what they were trying to do with the pitch in the piano roll, i mean its unlimited pitch but its very messy like you said, and what are you talking about cents? where do you set cents in tha sampler, next to the pitch knob only lets you go by semitones not cents, or are you talking about the time, pitch, and mul knobs.
