I think a thread like this has done before.. Anyway, here it goes..
I used to play a stupid online game called War Rock. In the Beta, I was known as nilsvg, wich is my name (Nils) + the initials of my last name (vg).
Somehow, I got banned, and I later joined as nilsfg. People got to know me as nilsfg (I was fucking pr0), and I just kept using the name on forums etc.
It's kinda lame but yeah.

apparently i have a doppelganger called greg, my friends called me gregbotsam and him sambotgreg. a misspelling of gergbotsam led to gergbot. my name is sam and i've yet to meet greg.
