Cat's are by far the best animal, someone once described them as being like little women in little fur coats.

I think my dad will be alright but he'll never be the same man again, fucked up. He didn't drink, smoke and was extremely active and fit.

The beds I built at my parents house are looking like this currently...

I dug and planted them 100% myself - My parents garden also..obviously right
- that's where i got it from... but they are not as dilligent about weeding as I am..
they have bad knees at this point - is the excuse..

allotment massive stand up!,now into me 2nd year of having one and am growing all sorts of shit this year.just planted apple trees and blackcurrant/raspberry bushes and got a few hens on the way too, .anyone wanting more room to grow stuff get yerself on the waiting list for one they're cheap as fuck [£25.00 a yr rent].it's just a really nice place to chill too and get away from life's stresses[me elderly jamaican neighbours home made rum helps too ]

stick a few tunes in the ipod or mp3 and get a nice pair of headphones and you are laughing for a few hours.

few spliffs really helps to mellow out after a dig too.

I like that.. little women in little fur coats. Pretty spot on.

Its unfair.. Its hard but try and stay positive, sometimes thats all you can do.. it helps alot.

I grew weed in a greenhouse darhn sarf during a hot summer, had bloody loads of the stuff, wouldn't do it again - you could smell it a hundred yards away up the street

I've read some of you guys have planted raspberries & strawberrie's + blackberries.
How did you guys do this? I've got some space on a southern faced fence, the only problem is i live near the north sea, so winds can be quite hard...

either buy some plants or plant from seed.

Give the raspberries something to grow against / up. Depending on your soil type you may need to pick up some compost and clear the area of weeds and debris.

Space the raspberries out about 12 - 18 inches apart. Go down as deep as the root ball in the pot you get them in. Combine the plants in 2s or 3s for the best yields on the fruit. The strawberries can be grown almost on top of each other. Not much spacing so you can plant them in or around the raspberries (make sure they are not right on top of each other).

You will need a bit of shelter for them and protect them from frosts over the winter.

got my final bed dug yesterday. Its huge.

3 metres by 6 metres

took me ages yesterday. Had a ton of pints yesterday afterwards going to do a bit today getting it ready for sowing on Sunday. Sweet Corn, Butternut Squash. Lettuce (Romain and Kos), Spinach, Chard and a few more Pumpkins.

Going to be class. Cant get wrecked too much tonight after DJing though.

When Im done I will stick a picture up.

Thanks, ground is clay = very fertile + chicken shit = should be okay .
Frost isn't an issue either, sea makes sure there's practically no frost/snow.

Tilled an area to start tobacco from seed a few weeks back at my father in-laws, and the sprouts are just coming up!
Roughly 3 1/2 meters square, with four types of tobacco.

My crops are coming along real good

Onions, Spring Onions, Carrots, Radishes, Tomatoes, Chillies, Lettuce, Rocket, Sunflowers, Fuckin' BOOM.

Yes, Europe has been growing tobacco for the last 2 centuries...
Perfectly possible, but the production is difficult as you need drying etc.

Also the quality will be subpar to that of more warmer climates.
