Hey Depone, I just have a off-topic question but can you tell when or how many people are following you on Beatport?

Only just saw this. Uh, dithering is just adding noise at about -96dB. So you can dither quite a lot of times before it makes any difference at all.nutrician wrote:big up for your effort to help producers here
When you finish mastering a track do you bounce it with or without dithering ?
I ask this because if someone's song is gonna be released later on a label and decide to send it further to a mastering studio for a commercial release. It is not good to dither a track twice
Maybe its an idea when you finished your work on a track to bounce both dithered and undithered.
nice one mate, look forward to hearing what you have got!sixth sense wrote:Defiantly going to give this a go once I have a paypal account set up! quality stuff depone

Also I Have just mastered a full 14 track LP forthcoming on 20/Twelve called the "Mothers against Noise LP". Really nice deep and experimental stuff.

From what I'm reading they already are.Runna and Cricky wrote:I still think that people will not pay for such service
Example please. To be fair Depone has the best of the best in digital software and knows how to use it properly. It's unlikely you'll find much better than this at this price. If you're referring to hardware, it's subjective that it's even better than top of the range digital processing nowadays anyway.Runna and Cricky wrote:There are people with better gear , do stuff cheaper and have better samples from bigger artists to show off
That's one hell of a broad assumption lolRunna and Cricky wrote:Dubstep producers mostly are poor
Nobody wants to stay poor and newbies need to realise that it costs money for professional service. Invest in yourself and appreciate yourself more as a result.Runna and Cricky wrote:why not help them out , for free ?
As gear , I ment hardware , yes.I've seen a lot of people advertising their "Mastering" services herewirez wrote:From what I'm reading they already are.Runna and Cricky wrote:I still think that people will not pay for such service

ok, im going to answer these to the truth...Runna and Cricky wrote:Here's a small thought -
I respect Depone and I really admire his ambitions nd music but I still think that people will not pay for such service
Reason 1 - There are people with better gear , do stuff cheaper and have better samples from bigger artists to show off
Reason 2 - Dubstep producers mostly are poor ( like me ) , since this forum section mostly consists newbies who are having rough time getting their tracks done then why not help them out , for free ? as you said you will do it just for practice . What goes around comes back around , remember.
Am I wrong , Depone ?
is that it? haha i was getting into debate mode!Runna and Cricky wrote:Word up home , keep it going then (: . You get me ? get me ? get me tho ?
