The scene is to small for stuff to be leaked before release
Cos the scene is small its easier to find out who it is

I've got a friend who's just made a radio documentary on illegal downloading. Apparantly FACT can start legal proceedings then contact the filesharing companies to get the ip address and any contact details of the user in question.
The first the user hears of it is when they recieve a court summons through their door. But to be honest attitudes need to be changed before the problem can be solved.
I suppose people could upload copies of the music loaded with virus'

Joker, that's some seriously aggy solution.
But seriously, Allow the bre's that have uploaded this album.
What I don't understand is that it seems to me, the only people that would have got the advanced promos would be people pretty well involved in the scene and therefore you would imagine that they would be people that love the scene and want to help it grow. That's why putting it up on the net seems like a seriously stupid and very WASTE thing to do.
True anti-jokers if ever there were.

Exactly, surely Tempa could find the culprit if they wanted to. They gotta have a list of everyone who got the CD as well the peeps who got Headhunter's TP's and advanced copies.

i've never seen a tempa cd promo before, so i'm not sure. looks fairly real, i suppose.
i assumed tempa would just send out finished copies with a little hole punched out of them or the barcode scored out. a lot of smaller companies do that.
