I wish Pure Filth would find another venue and get to putting on some nights again. Saw Jakes for 10 bucks and it was one of the best nights I've been to.

yeah mate i saw him at his first appearance at pure filth, such a heavy ass night, ohh man

it sucks though all the people tagging up every venue that sam is able to get, i honestly suspect it to be promoters not making enough money that are jealous at the heavy nights sam xl and the whole crew are able to throw

Agree with you completely. We've had so many top-notch bass shows here lately all under $20: Joker, Head Hunter (Addison Groove), Jakes (best jump-up set I've heard), Mimosa, etc. Flux has some good songs, but none of those other artists impress me in the slightest-- that party is going to be 6 hours of the same sounds over-and-over. Those event centers always have terrible systems anyway. Stoked for Ginz next week! Big up Cervante's sound system :Q:

Was that the problem? I didn't know any details or anything as far as that. That place over in Little Armenia was nice though, great crowd, obviously a great system.

The most I've ever payed to see a DJ was $15 for Andy C... at Smart Bar, which has an incredible sound system, and with a crowd of about 300 people. It was amazing. Would much rather pay for that than to see 2 technically decent DJs (FP is good, don't know about Dr P) playing music I don't particularly like to a crowd a can't stand. Suffice to say, I won't be seeing them when they come here in June. Which is good, considering my night is scheduled for the same day!

yup, they tagged up lot 613, then when sam moved it to club gabba on hollywood blvd, it got tagged up as well, thats why if you noticed they only had that venue for less than like 10 shows

its sad really what things are coming to, i mean if things were getting inflated in price then id understand, but the sole problem is stupid taggers, its real sad. pure filth is one of those events that can draw crowds based on name sake alone regardless of lineup, its amazing. just say PURE FILTH sound, and you'll have people flocking, (including myself :z: )

lol best night of my short life was Joe Nice @ dubwar, didn't pay a cent. I think it was $10 but i was a bit early. Then paid $50 for tix to Skream and Benga's monstrosity of a show and i was bored to tears with the music they played. didn't help that they were wasted and basically having a laugh at the audience's expense.
