cheese and sour diesel are my 2 fav smokes so i'd love to know what they taste like crossbred
chesiel is very nice yeah... someone once sold me a draw apparently called "amcheesia", supposedly a cross between cheese and amnesia, i doubt it actually was but it was nice and the name cracked me up

Once you`re smoking the bud and have different strains identified you really appreciate the different flavors, highs, etc.
So when you buy, you tend to want to know what you`re smoking.
Often to be able to compare what you grew to the original or to be sure you`re getting good smoke.
But to be honest, I haven`t found any bud I thought was comparable to what I grew.

So If I hear a name I really enjoyed I may put more effort into getting it.
But this is pretty pointless when the guys selling the bud are just making the name up.
When you start to grow out hybradised strains that have been watered down with every added crossing, you start noticing the generic skunk smell over specific smells you notice with bank bought seed.

Blueberry is unmistakeable when it`s the original DJ Short.
Neville's Haze is unmistakeable when from Mr Nice compared to say Greenhouse seedbank.
Chimera uses a common Male and Female to produce his genetics resulting in slightly sweater, stinky fruit overtones.
Very different in comparison to a generic skunk smell/flavor.

etc. etc.
etc.
So true. Any other recommendations?

I grew a Skunk #001 and it totally changed my opinion of the strain when compared to how the word is thrown around on road. Plus I think any plant you grow and care for will have more rewarding results.

Indeed, I like to know what it is that I'm smoking. I prefer Sativas or Sativa dominant hybrids in the daytime because it's a more heady smoke that still allows you to function and get things done. I like Indicas later in the evening and before I'm going to bed because those are the ones that will give you the couch lock. They help me sleep better.

I read that Cheese was developed in the UK. I do not think I have ever tried that strain.

i wonder if there's a difference between UK and US tastes

I'm definitely an indica guy
"sativa during the day, indica at night". they say indica is more of a head high I believe and will make you tired also it is recommended for people with insomnia. i might be mistaken though it might be a body high.

I imo can't really tell the difference in most buds except the smell, the feel, and the high. which I guess is all you are supposed to notice? either i get really high off this strain or I don't really that simple. i don't really worry about names since a friend of mine always gets top shelf from the dispensaries here in southern california.

Original Sam Skunkman Skunk #1 is the one, great smoke.
C4 is great.
Amnezia Haze
Pineapple Crush
Deep Skunk 9
Black Widow
Diesel
Cindy99
trainwreck
Romulan
Buddhas Sister
Karma Train - Buddhas Sister x Trainwreck
the list goes on

none of them compete with Neville's haze though, it`s a bit of a bitch to grow because of the long flower and plant size but damn, soo unique and an incredible high with minimal ceiling.

(oh yeah he called it blue power haze)

i dunno why people can't just tell ya what strain it really is. of coursei understand not everyone always knows but still, fobbing you off with bullshit is pretty pointless!

just thought i'd get that out there
Lol. That's some bull shit. My names Blue Dream because I love to smoke it, and it's real too. XD
