rusko is goin down hill in my books, gets more bait all the time. Hasnt really come up with any decent new stuff...why only two caspa tunes? Maybe caspa tried to tell him how wrong remixing katey perry actually was.

My post does not incite HATE for RUSKO.
It's just the above i agree with, Rusko and maybe even Caspa have chosen to take the COMMERCIAL ROUTE, bringing DUBSTEP to the MASSES is doe don't get me wrong, but i just don't want them to be lazy and produce MEDIOCRE tunages....It will RUIN DUBSTEP when people think that tunes like KATEY PERRY is actually AMAZING...when there are so many Underground artists producing pure QUALITY and FILTH....
'Tis my OPPINION!
This.
It's like everytime I start talking to people about dubstep it's like, yeah caspa & rusko they're so amazing this & that, and that's about the only part of the spectrum they know/will know/want to know..
Well, for me Rusko is def. no DUBstep no more.. It's more like he said, hyped up bass music or something.. I just can't stand this being put in the same category like Mala, Pinch, Skream, .. it's just wrong
PS don't get me wrong: there are some good wobblers/bangers out there, only I think Rusko takes the sound to a point where's it's just impossible to listen to, and he doesn't innovate/progress at all..
Where are the Acton Dreads and Jahovahs???

ye rusko hasnt really progressed anywer with his productions. im nt gonna knock him for making hype tunes cos i enjoy some of their hype shit, but they have gotten worse and worse at it makin more generic stuff, which is a shame cos they got the possibilities to still innovate and move forward.
allow clipz collabo's aswell.

i didnt listn to the mix yet, but its funny how people will never hate on certain producers no matter what they do, but hating on rusko and caspa is like......normal.
w/e.
so its not "dubstep" to you??
im sick of that word dubstep anyways. damn.

Yeah offcourse it's still dubstep, it's just become so over the top that it seems to have lost it connection with what dubstep was all about in the first place. Also I can't link the word "dubstep" to this music, especially the aspect "dub" has been completely forgotten..
All in all it's more about the feeling I have over the music that rusko's bringing, hard to describe with words actually..
& not to forget it's a personal opinion, everyone has his own vision of what "dubstep" is to them, I just don't consider this music to be it.. If anyone would ask me to illustrate what dubstep is by playing them a tune, this will certainly not be it..
just my 2 cents

as for me I'am suporter not a hater.I have ALL Rusko's releases on vinyl.
but this mix...I dunno...not my sound tbh))

i think rusko and caspa should keep doing what they are doing. its their usp. I like it, if you hear it in a rave it is loads.
Dont really have to be technical about things. Man went on there and called himself a dubstep dj, so its dubstep.

Excactly, I'm no "hater" either, I won't judge people if they say that this stuff is what it's all about..
I'm just afraid that this new style is gonna be a portal for more people to get into the scene which actually don't belong in it and will be far too closed minded to be open to the other things that are going on..
