By technoid I meant techno dnb, stuff like The Sect, Proket, Raiden, Lucio de Rimanez, Mystification, Kriotek, Vengeanze etc, some tunes from Machine Code, Dean Rodell etc.
Stuff like Synapscape is also called technoid.

How does techno dnb differ from crossbreed or hardcore dnb? I've heard half of those guys play crossbreed sets that didn't really sound any different from the rest of the PRSPCT/Therapy DJs.
Judging from the following description, I was expecting something thoroughly different to techstep or hardcore dnb;
"1. Technoid grew out of the rhythmic noise scene, taking inspiration from IDM, experimental techno and noise music. German label Hymen Records is responsible for the term and the style. Artists include Gridlock, Black Lung, and Xingu Hill"

Yeah, I'm not big into the 2nd type.
It's not all that different from darkstep and all that, it was always played in the same sets. And it's still dnb, not gabba with CV snares (crossbreed nowadays).

Well yeah, but that scene has died down a bit in the last few years. Producers either went hardcore (crossbreed), bro or barely released anything.
