anyone?
I like the ambiance in the pad, but the track on whole is interesting enough for me to want me to listen right the way through.

The quality is good though.

Just checked your myspace, some heavy tracks on there.

Lush pads, good sub mix but i reckon the drums should be a lot more up front. Really nice movement though. E tune.

Just started this last night.. bit worried it sounds a bit Benga-ish..

Lemme kno your thoughts, will comment back on tunes!

Mixed really quiet so CRANK IT ;).

(Check out Fodda too if you got time ;))

that is going to be a big track

i dont think you should worry about it sounding benga-ish because i dont hear it to much

other than the obvious comment to turn up the mixing id build it up more

so the drop is extra heavy, try using some dynamics and sweeps

but on a whole that sounds awesome!

keep it up

Sounds cool mate, I really like the impending doom vibe :-) I think the format filtered wobble is getting too repetitive though...

Damn, I really like Fodda2, only thing which is bugging me is the hihats, they're too loud and don't fit in the tune... but besides that, monster tune!

Cheers dude! By the filtered wobble do you mean the first sort of high munchy wobble? like maybe break the pattern up a bit?

Yeh i need to sort fodda, i wasnt sure if there was enuf of a hook there.

You should def finish that tune off, its heavy and the midrange is proper thick sounding, maybe get some more movement on the arp filter-wise? Nice and aggy though hehe.

yeah I mean the one with the formant filter, that goes yE E EE E E, hehe dunno how to explain it properly, it's the first wobble in your bar though... ;-) thnx for checking out my track, gonna look for some proper movie samples to use in it

@ Roodbwoy - I'd make that intro longer, it's really good, really like all of this track really, cool background sounds, drums are pretty thumpy and that bass is nice

@ Rhek - Snare needs to be way louder in the mix, I can barely hear it but sounding cool overall

@ Thierry - Those are sounding cool, looking at the waveforms scare me though I haven't seen compression like that since death magnetic album by metallica, may wanna ease off a bit

@ Iceman - Mix is soundin nice and solid, can't fault it nice one

http://www.zshare.net/audio/623804943389d68c/

This is a new one I'm working on, I was hoping someboday could check it through a sub and tell me if it will carry enough weight for a club sound system?

Lowpass - I loved the mood you set with the subbass, really awesome flow and imo you're doing a great job so far.

LHD - It's basic, the idea is good now just work it out more, perhaps boost your subbass abit , it was kind of low for me..

This is a song I worked on 2 weeks ago that I picked up now again, tell me what you think ;)

Hahahahaha, nah, just decided I didn't want to put that out even partially yet since I'm revamping it with a whole different program. And yeah I can't believe that's still there, either mods here don't give a fuck or are real slack. Sensitive much?

Cheers, is there anything else you'd advise? the sub loud enough in the mix?

Checked yours out, didn't know newgrounds uploaded music let alone with badger badger as the background, best mascot for dubstep if eve I saw one. It's sounding cool, atmospheric build up some heavy bass, really dark

@Devium-Nice tune, little bit more eq needed for sure though, your kick seems to be hitting where your sub should be and your bass is all mid. Try eq'ing your kick with a spike at 80hz and a spike at 125hz with a hard low cut under 80hz. Boost your bass hard under 70hz and all they way down to 35hz if you need to double your bass line to keep the mid and your cpu can handle then go ahead and double the bass track, add a lowpass filter to your low end with a cutoff at 75hz to avoid signal clash. All in all tune sounding good. Big up!
