Go to Tools>Last Tweaked>Override Volatile Link...

And then move the knob that you want to be your master knob, now, anything you touch with the mouse will be controlled by that knob.

You can do the same for >Next To Last Tweaked, and have two knobs that will control the last touched, and the next to last touched.

Quick question, is turning down the effect dry/wet next to the effect slot in the mixer the same as turning it down once it's on a send? If not why?

What do you mean exactly? Turning down the send level, or turning down the wet/dry knob on the fx in the send channel?

Like to point out that I wouldn't use those predefined sends. Just send to another mixer track. You'll have more flexibility in that you can then reroute those channels, which are essentially buss channels now, into other channels for further summing/processing.

The fader on the track your sending to.

In that case, yes it is. (if I understand you correctly :) ) Use a fruity balance to bring the level down, try to leave the fader alone.

so I have this bass sample that sounds fine on one note, but when I play it on other notes the sample becomes shorter, modulates quicker... and doesn't sound right. Is there anyway to fix this? I tried loading it into the granulizer but it totally gives the bass another sound..

is the bass sample in sampler?

if so mess around with the different strethcing options in the dropdown menu in the middle box.

yes it is a sample, in the sampler.. Messed around with those knobs a bit. I still can't get it to sound right...wanted to play the bassline in different notes, but is sounds like sh*t.

How do samplers work? When you tell the sampler to play the sample at a different pitch, it just speeds it up or slows it down. This is completely normal. If you don't want that to happen, you'll need to make a multisample patch, i.e., one sample for each key you intend on using, in Directwave or something, or use granulizer. The granulizer basically timestretches the audio to keep the same length with a different pitch but adds some artifacts of various flavours.

so what the fuck have they done in version 10?.. just upgraded.

They've reversed how the slip tool works? This is fucking retarded, you can't drag a clip out without moving the start point! Please tell me there is a way around this.
also now are patterns only in the playlist audio clip window? the whole bottom half of the playlist has been removed.

and whats with it playing from where you clicked last in the playlist instead of from the start of the song/marker.. having to push the home button instead of spacebar is ridiculous
this shit is bananas

image line fixing things that arent broken.. I just wanted to write some jungle man..

I do like how theyve jacked the old cubase bar drag zoom thing though..

edit: sounds like the slip tool thing is solved by shift dragging.. will have to test this out

Hey, how do you drag audio from one plug to another? For example, dragging a bassline from Edison to the playlist.

Open the template that doesn't have the limiter, and that's it.
FL automatically opens the last used template :W:

Quick question people.... Here's my example; I've got pad chords in midi spanning through the whole of my track in various sections, each pad is an 8 bar midi clip, I would like to automate say, the cutoff or another parameter throughout the whole track via my midi controller, is there a way to record it in one take across the whole track? Is the only way to have one very long clip spanning the whole track with notes placed where you want in that clip? There must be something obvious I'm missing here, I've searched about, tried a few things and checked the manual. probably very simple but would like to know, cheers. I don't enjoy drawing it in the whole way through a track i'd rather just jam and tweak when I please.

Quick question:
Is it possible to create a template with multiple mixer channels pre-routed to busses?
