that's because it's dnb same as the one posted earlier in this thread, i was pointing out the only difference between the two is the drum pattern

And Hotflush were very bass heavy back in '04. I haven't bought one for a while. My offer of sale was by the by... the only vinyls I regret buying and would want to sell are some dodgy garage boots!

why would a term bother me? i would just like to understand the use and application of it. never understood it when they applied it to dnb, don't understand it now. it's like calling a style of music "intelligent", just makes me wonder what people mean is all

so when descibing to a friend what tune a DJ played at the end of his set.. you can just say "bass music"? Genres names are there just as descriptive terms. It makes shopping for and finding tunes easier.. that's all.

no i would describe the sound, time signature, beat pattern and melody... also the use of samples if i spot them... i don't think i could say liquid drumfunk and have the other person understand me

what a stupid name for a non-genre.

Its just drum and bass except half step. its nothing new its been around for ages and it doesn't need defining and setting aside as a separate thing.

Heres a mix by a guy called Dabbler posted on here in 2008 thats all 170 half step beats.
