Yeah sorry been a bit busy, been bobbing on and off AIM today and you've not been around. Will have a good listen tomorrow definitely and get in touch with the others.

This has completely gone out of the window. There;s no private forum anymore so no way of the committee voting tunes in lol- I think I'm going to run it still... I'll have a think of another strategy now. Still send us tunes btw:

Thanks man, I'm still keen to see where it goes as me and others have put the effort in and it'd be a shame to see it go down the pan.

Well.. actually, you had the support from us to help you put this in place, but to be honest jay, you didn't deliver. You went off the map for a month and a bit, leaving us thinking "whats going on here?"
You didn't come and let us know in the private forum your situation, so i think deadly must have pulled the forum, and pulled out, as will I.

It was a good idea, and good you set it up Jay but if you cant commit to it properly maybe you should hand it over to someone who can.

That's fair comment Depone, and Sinisterbeats. But I have a clear agenda now. I'm completely about the channel. I think it needs a lot of time dedicated to have made it work, time I didn't have at that given moment. But like I say I'm over the problems and we've got the teething problems out of the way and I'm going to put effort back into it.

thats good to hear, good luck with it. It is a great way to showcase some of the talent on this forum. I wish I could offer some of my time to help out but Im far too busy at the moment.

whoops nah i just didn't renew my hosting as i'm reworking the whole sample swap, label site, and blog as they were all on the same account forgot about the forum
i'm still game just lemme know the plan as i have no hosting atm

why don't you and said committee make a soundcloud and have all submissions directed to it. then on your personal clouds vote yes or no on that specific track as comments. get enough yess's youtube it, no's delete it that way you aren't over the 200min limit and no one has to shell out for a subscription.

Actually I don't know how the drop box works on soundcloud maybe you would have to upload it first idk.

Yeah er it's been covered XD main reason is because we want the voting to be behind closed doors so people don't get hurt feelings or bare grudges.

we could start a free board somewhere till i buy a new server (may be awhile as i'm aiming at starting my own hosting company)

how about email or something?
say you have 5 panel members (don't know the actual number you secretive ninjas). number 1 takes the submission from soundcloud emails it as an attachment with his vote to #2 and just keep forwarding it keeping everyone's vote until it gets back to 1
so it makes a circle 1-2-3-4-5-1...everyone likes circles 0.o


maybe I should work on making a track decent enough to submit rather than wasting time thinking of ideas xD

Yeah that's what I said to jay earlier. I remember having a free forum for me and my friends when I was like 13 so it can't be very difficult. Especially these days.

We may as well opt for the free forum thing, but obe which approves members and if there's a way keep it on the low key so votes aren't seen until everyone has voted. How we'll keep it low key I don't know Glad to hear you're still onboard Deadly btw. And I've just uploaded a personal favourite of mine, I hope the commitee don't mind, and I won't upload again without the committee giving the nod, but I was just gonna go my own way with the help of a few others and just upload that way- also.. we should look for tracks too rather than them coming to us, using the soundcloud account or tracks we'd think are suitable and submit them to the panel cos we might have a shortage of videos. Quality control is still key though but thats where the committee comes in
